If you can't put into words how much you love your daughter, son, sister or brother let this song say it for you.
David McKellar, ruggedly handsome with a gravel voice to match, gives an amazing raw vocal performance perfectly matching the emotion in the song. If you can't put into words how much you love your daughter, son, sister or brother let this song say it for you.
"I played in bands with friends from 14 to 21. Then I answered an advert in NME for members of The Seahorses and Shed 7 were looking for a singer. I got the gig. We were called The Rising. The NME were writing us up as an indie supergroup. Timing in music is everything and unfortunately this was the same time as the new sound of The Killers, Kings of Leon and The Strokes. Brit pop time and major record label interest was over. The band split. The experience I enjoyed the most was being invited by The Verve guitarist Nick McCabe to perform on the John Martyn Tribute album alongside Beck, The Cure and Paolo Nutini."
I then completed an HNC course in Commercial Music and became a father. To support my family I have performed in Scottish clubs & bars for several years. My daughter is now grown up. Recently I was introduced and became friends with songwriter Martin Manley who, along with Cowriter Ronan McKellar and multi-manager David Vernet McDermott, have reignited Telemetry and we will all be working closely together recording and releasing original songs. I am excited to see where this collaboration leads."
